Lucy Neal OBE is an artist, writer and co-director of Walking Forest, a ten year public artwork connecting women, forest ecosystems and activism at a time of climate and nature crisis: www.walkingforest.co.uk. Lucy was co-founder director of the influential London International Festival of Theatre (1981-2005) and is author of Playing for Time – Making Art As If the World Mattered. Now in its 2nd edition, the book maps an aesthetics of care to explore creativity’s role in reimagining a liveable Earth. She’s a spokesperson for the Cultural Global Stocktake for Climate Action, now preparing its 3rd draft for recognition as part of the UNFCCC Framework at COP31, in Antalya, Turkey.
