Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Futures
University of Exeter
Dr Eunice Oppon is a Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Futures at the University of Exeter Business School. Her research focuses on sustainable supply chains, life cycle sustainability assessment, climate solutions, and the social and environmental dimensions of low-carbon transitions.
She leads the Enhanced Weathering Africa Partnership (EWAP), a growing multidisciplinary initiative exploring the potential of enhanced rock weathering as a climate and agricultural solution across Africa. EWAP brings together researchers, policymakers, farmers, research institutes and implementation partners to build locally grounded evidence on how enhanced weathering could support soil health, food security, responsible carbon removal, and climate resilience in African agricultural systems.
Eunice’s broader work examines how climate solutions can be designed and governed in ways that are socially just, environmentally credible, and responsive to the needs of communities in the Global South. Her work sits at the intersection of sustainability research, policy engagement, agriculture, and responsible innovation.
