Andy Wiltshire is a Strategic Head at the Met Office Hadley Centre and Associate Professor in Earth System Science at the University of Exeter. He has over 20 years’ experience of climate modelling. Andy leads the Earth System and Mitigation Sciences department of the Met Office Hadley Centre. Andy and his group develop the UK Earth System Model (UKESM) and undertake research into understanding the earth system and its response to anthropogenic forcers, the impacts of climate change, and how mitigation may reduce the impacts of climate change. Andy’s research provides scientific evidence in support of policy making.
