The poster sessions are a vital part of the conference and provide an opportunity to showcase research and ideas to a broad audience.
Please note: To present a poster at the Forum, you must also be registered to attend the event. Submission of a poster does not include Forum registration, so a ticket must be purchased separately in order for your poster to be displayed.
The 2026 Conference posters will be organised into the following themes:
2026 POSTER ABSTRACT THEMES
Exploring the latest advances in carbon science and their implications for economic systems, policy decisions, and pathways to net zero.
We welcome contributions from academics on this topic, including abstracts related specifically to the conference session on the vulnerability of natural carbon sinks.
Examining how businesses can accelerate climate action by triggering positive tipping points in technology, markets, and behaviour.
We welcome contributions from academics on this topic, including abstracts related to conference sessions on:
- Climate leadership by low and middle-income countries
- Modelling in the finance sector
- Positive tipping points and finance
- Tipping points for protecting tropical forests
Investigating the growing impacts of climate change on human health and the role of science, policy, and practice in shaping effective responses.
We welcome contributions from academics on this topic, including abstracts related to conference sessions on:
- The current and future health impacts of climate change
- Triple win opportunities in responding to climate change: improving the environment, health and health equity
Advancing understanding of extreme weather through cutting-edge modelling and what it means for prediction, preparedness, and decision-making.
We welcome contributions from academics on topics related to:
- Weather and climate modelling, including AI, hybrid modelling, high-resolution, and global coupled modelling.
- High impact weather and the finance and risk sectors, including catastrophe modelling, and decision making under uncertainty.
- Extreme weather impacts on health, including current and future climate risks.
- Preparedness and early warnings for extreme events.
There will be a dedicated poster session during the day for this theme.
Welcoming interdisciplinary research that connects themes, sectors, and perspectives to address complex climate challenges in integrated ways.
