Examining how businesses can accelerate climate action by triggering positive tipping points in technology, markets, and behaviour.
Investigating the growing impacts of climate change on human health and the role of science, policy, and practice in shaping effective responses.
Advancing understanding of extreme weather through cutting-edge modelling and what it means for prediction, preparedness, and decision-making.
We welcome contributions from academics, policy-makers, and business on topics related to:
- Weather and climate modelling, including AI, hybrid modelling, high-resolution, and global coupled modelling.
- High impact weather and the finance and risk sectors, including catastrophe modelling, and decision making under uncertainty.
- Extreme weather impacts on health, including current and future climate risks.
- Preparedness and early warnings for extreme events.
There will be a dedicated poster session during the day for this theme.
