Emma is a Principal Climate Change Scientist at UKHSA. She works on a range of topics related to the health impacts from climate change including and infectious diseases and mental health. She led the publication of the ‘Health Effects of Climate Change in the UK report’ in 2023, co-led the publication of the ‘Climate change and mental health: thematic assessment report’ in 2024 and is one of the lead authors for the infectious disease risk for the 4th Climate Change Risk Assessment (CCRA) which is due for publication in May 2026.
